Born and raised in New York, Dr. Alexandra Finkelstein provides comprehensive, evidence-based dental care with a focus on precision, aesthetics, and patient comfort.
Dr. Finkelstein earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and distinction in Prosthodontics. She was also the recipient of the NYU Alumni Association Prosthetic Award for proficiency in removable prosthodontics, recognizing her exceptional skill and dedication to excellence in prosthetic dentistry.
During her time at NYU, she served as Vice President of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association and was selected for the Invisalign® Clinical Elective, advancing her training in comprehensive treatment planning, occlusal harmony, and aesthetic smile design utilizing clear aligner therapy. Following dental school, Dr. Finkelstein completed a General Practice Residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she delivered comprehensive dental care to a diverse and medically complex patient population.
Her clinical training encompassed operative and prosthetic dentistry, oral surgery, endodontic therapy, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal therapy, and implant dentistry. Through the VA, she gained extensive experience managing patients with systemic disease, psychiatric and developmental disorders, and various physical disabilities. She also underwent phlebotomy training, integrating systemic health considerations into dental treatment planning and emergency management.
Dr. Finkelstein’s approach emphasizes comprehensive, patient-centered care rooted in compassion and clinical excellence.
