As a second-generation dentist, Dr. Jason Bastida understood from a young age what it takes to be an attentive and successful clinician. He learned early on that dentistry is as much a science and an art as it is about being personable and mindful of a patient’s experience. This is why Dr. Bastida honors his patients’ trust in him by creating a comfortable environment.
After graduating with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degrees in Biology (BS) and French (BA), Dr. Bastida completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He then returned home to Long Island where he completed a residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital. Dr. Bastida is an active member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, the New York County Dental Society, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
When he’s not in practice or staying up-to-date on current literature, Dr. Bastida can be found running around the streets of New York training for his next race, serving on the Board of the New York Carolina Club, and enjoying the company of his friends and family.
