He states, “Another recommendation is to brush your teeth, or if you don’t have time for that, swish with a non-alcoholic mouth rinse prior to putting the clear aligners back in your mouth.” Brushing and flossing your teeth after each meal is recommended to ensure that any remaining food and bacteria is removed and doesn’t stay in the trays. The aligners themselves should also be cleaned daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
